First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog! My name is Ayet and I love to try all sorts of crafty things. I've tried knitting, crocheting, watercolor painting, sewing and even calligraphy just to name a few. Apart from the home economics classes we had back in school, I learned the basics through tutorials from blogs and YouTube.

I also love to bake and I tend to bake more desserts such as cookies, bars, and cupcakes, than savoury ones. You see, what I love about baking is that there are precise measurements when it comes to ingredients. As long as you follow them, I think you'll just be fine. Don't get me wrong, I am no expert and I have only attended two baking demo classes. As for cooking, it's a whole different story and I haven't had much luck with it as with baking. I have yet to learn so much about cooking! I also hoard cookbooks by the way. Yes, the ones filled with pictures. I have a problem though.. I get discouraged whenever the food I make don't look like the ones in the pictures. Haha!

I enjoy traveling to new places but beaches have a special place in my heart. I think I've had my fair share of out of town and out of the country trips but I do hope to be able to travel the whole world someday. I also love to eat. I mean, who doesn't, right? I'm no picky eater. In fact, you can bring to a fancy restaurant or to the streets to eat what ever! I couldn't care less. Oh wait, I take it back. I do mind if there are cockroaches and rats running around! Seriously.

And that's my brief intro for you. Why am I making a blog? Well, I just want to have a place where I can share my experiences and interact with people who share the same interests as I mine. Again, I am no expert in the above mentioned fields so please be gentle with me.
